Rebuilding Together NYC

The mission of Rebuilding Together New York City (RT NYC) is to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities. The mission is fulfilled by partnering with the local community to perform free rehabilitation projects on the homes of low-income homeowners, targeting people who are physically challenged and elderly, so they may live in warmth, safety, and retain their independence. Additionally, RT NYC rehabilitates facilities of nonprofit organizations that serve a low-income community. RT NYC uses skilled and unskilled volunteers on each project to bring the community together.

Rebuilding Together NYC addresses home accessibility issues for low-income, disabled residents throughout the five boroughs.
